A Small World Moment on a Mt. Fuji Tour! 【Tour Story】

The other day, I was hosting a full-day tour, talking with my guests as usual.
They were from Australia, and I used to teach Japanese there for one year in 2020 as part of a language assistant program. While talking, I started sharing some memories from my time living in Australia.
Then, everything suddenly connected. I mentioned the name of the school where I used to work. The moment I said it, they looked surprised.
That was his school too! (Grandson’s school)
I honestly couldn’t believe it. Out of all the schools, out of all the places in Australia, he is currently studying at the exact same school where I once taught Japanese.
After that, I showed them a few pictures at the school. Then he knew some of the teachers, who were my coworker.
hmm what a coincidence…!!!
The world is really big, but moments like this remind me that it’s also surprisingly small.
I am glad they left the review!
