FAQ
- Where do the tours start?
-
Around the Yamanashi side of the Mt. Fuji area, including Fujiyoshida, Kawaguchiko, Yamanakako and Oshino. I can pick you up at your hotel or accommodation, or at major stations such as Kawaguchiko Station or Fujisan Station.
- Can you pick us up from Tokyo (or drop us off there)?
-
No. Sorry!
- Do you speak English?
-
Yes! but not fluent since I was born and raised in Japan. I’ve spent short periods in Canada, Australia, and New Zealand, which helped me improve my English.
- How many people can join the tour?
-
We can fit up to 4 people, but 3 is more comfortable since we’re using an eco car (Nissan Note).
- Do you offer tours for big groups?
-
No, I focus on private tours for small groups (up to 4) to ensure a personalized and relaxed experience.
- Can I always see Mt. Fuji?
-
I wish I could promise that!
Mt. Fuji is beautiful but very shy. On clear days, the view is unforgettable, but in humid or cloudy seasons, especially from Spring to Summer season, it might be hidden. I always try to adjust the plan so you can still enjoy other beautiful spots nearby. Hopefully we’ll get a perfect view.
- Is lunch included?
-
Not included in the tour price, but I’ll recommend and take you to great local restaurants according to your taste and budget.
- How long are the tours?
-
Tours typically last around 5 hours, depending on the itinerary and your interests.
- What should I bring?
-
Comfortable shoes, sun protection, and a light jacket are recommended. If hiking is involved, dress accordingly.
- Can I cancel tour?
-
You can cancel for free up to 7 days before your tour. If it’s 3–6 days before, we can give you a 50% refund. For cancellations within 2 days, unfortunately, we can’t offer a refund. Thanks for understanding—we just want to make sure everything goes smoothly for everyone!
- Can I customize the tour?
-
Yes! All tours are flexible. You can choose the pace, destinations, or specific activities you want to include.
